Mercedes-Benz Vehicles Enhance the Experience, Spur Sales

Much of the enjoyment of driving comes from the actual experience of driving. The automaker’s sales were bolstered by the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class which led the way with sales of 6,658 vehicles. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is available from your Aurora area Mercedes-Benz dealers in several models including the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sedan, which comes equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque for sporty and athletic performance. The 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 Sedan can also achieve excellent fuel economy ratings in the mid-20s in the city and approaching the mid-30s on the highway.

Mercedes-Benz sales were also spurred by the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV and 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE SUV, which reported sales of 4,871 and 4,730 vehicles, respectively.

On an overall basis Mercedes-Benz vehicle sales totaled 28,164, bringing the automaker’s year-to-date total to 75,769 vehicles through the first quarter of 2016.

“We had a strong first-quarter, laying the foundation for a minimum of nine new model launches in the months ahead… We are expecting yet another record year on the strength of our product portfolio,” said Dietmar Exler, Mercedes-Benz USA President and CEO.
